SpeakCalc – Privacy Policy Last updated: 15 September 2026
SpeakCalc (“the app”) is a free calculator that accepts spoken and typed input. This policy explains what the app does and does not do with your data.
Microphone The microphone is used only when you tap the mic button, and only to understand your calculation. The app does not record or store audio.
Speech recognition Your device’s speech service (usually Google) converts speech to text. Audio may be sent to that service during recognition and is subject to that provider’s privacy policy. The app itself does not transmit audio anywhere.
Calculation history & settings Stored only on your device. You can delete history any time from the History screen. Uninstalling the app removes all data. Only settings are included in Android backup; history is excluded.
Advertising The app uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob is an advertising service provided by Google. To show ads, measure their performance, and help prevent fraud, AdMob may automatically collect certain information from your device. This may include:
Advertising ID (Android Advertising ID)
IP address
Device information (such as device type and operating system)
App usage data (such as how you interact with ads)
Approximate location (derived from IP address)
Diagnostic information (such as crash data and performance metrics)
This data is collected and processed by Google and its advertising partners in accordance with Google’s Privacy Policy and Google’s Advertising Policies. The app itself does not store or have access to this data. You may be able to opt out of personalized advertising by adjusting your device’s ad settings (for example, by resetting your Advertising ID or opting out of interest-based ads in your Android settings). Please note that even if you opt out of personalized ads, you may still see non-personalized ads, and some data may still be collected for ad delivery, measurement, and fraud prevention.
What we do not do No accounts
No analytics or tracking beyond what is necessary for advertising (as described above)
No data is sent to our own servers
Children The app is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information through the app, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
Changes If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
